King's College Hospital Charity has around 20 members of staff working in three primary departments, led by our Chief Executive Gail Scott Spicer.
- Our grants team, led by Iona Joy, works in partnership with King's to identify where we can make the biggest impact for patients. The team establishes robust processes for grant-making, monitoring and evaluating the progress of our work in the hospitals.
- Our fundraising and communications team raises the income and awareness required to make the best care possible at King's. Led by James Robinson, the team raises funds from a wide variety of sources, including individual giving, the King's Lottery, major donors, Trusts & Foundations and a busy community and events fundraising programme.
- Our finance and resources team, led by Salah Mirza, ensures we are able to be our best in all we do. This includes our most precious resource - our people! - as well as our money, our technology and our facilities.
A Board of Trustees, chaired by Adrian Williams, govern the Charity, monitoring our strategic objectives and risks, and ultimately ensuring that we are fulfilling our Charitable purpose and operating effectively to benefit King's patients.
