You could even take part virtually, walking any route from any location!

“We will be eternally grateful for everything King’s has done for us. This is why we wanted to take part in the Great Hospital Hike and raise some money for the brilliant teams we were fortunate to meet.”

Matilda's story

Matilda and her family took on the Little Hospital Hike to thank King's College Hospital for the incredible care she received after unexpectedly being diagnosed with a brain tumour.

Your sponsorship (minimum £150) will make a huge difference to every person who comes through the doors of our hospitals and there is no better way to say thank you to the NHS staff who work tirelessly to care for patients.

From the moment you sign up, our team will be on hand to help you get the best out of your fundraising. We will help with ideas and advice, as well as provide materials to help promote your fundraising activities.

We know that every pound you raise will make a world of difference to King’s and we’ll do whatever we can to help you achieve your target.

Unveiling our newest stop on the route!

If you’ve hiked the trail before, you’ll know that the 18-mile route stretches from King’s College Hospital in Denmark Hill to the Princess Royal University Hospital in Bromley. This year, we decided that Brockwell Park was too beautiful to miss, so the route now winds its way through this historic park with its ancient oaks and open meadows.

In loving memory of Mia

Everyone has their own special story for walking the Great Hospital Hike.

When Mia tragically passed away on the morning of her 20th birthday, her family wanted to do something to honour her memory and say thank you for the incredible care and support they all received from the staff on the Christine Brown Critical Care Unit.

“I really wish we could thank each member of staff personally for their support…every single one of them are real-life superheroes and we are proud to help raise funds for this wonderful hospital at the Great Hospital Hike.”
