We are a small team that works hard to make a big difference to the lives of the patients and staff of King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Volunteering with us is a great way to learn new skills and contribute to the vital work of our hospitals.
We offer a range of volunteering opportunities, including:
- Community Fundraising
We’re looking for volunteers to be ambassadors for King's College Hospital Charity in their communities. Tasks like collecting donations, distributing leaflets, selling raffle tickets, and monitoring collection tins.
- Event Volunteer
Our fundraising team manages an action-packed calendar of events throughout the year including charity challenges like our flagship Great Hospital Hike, bucket collections like our Christmas Collection at London Bridge Station, and awareness campaigns like our annual stand at the Lambeth Country Show. As an event volunteer you can be part of the fun by helping to marshall events, register participants, sign up supporters, join a cheer squad, and chat to members of the community about the work of the Charity.
- Office Support
Volunteers help us in our busy office in all our departments including fundraising, finance, administration, marketing and communicatons. You can help with speaking to supporters, writing thank you notes, data entry, preparing event packs, social media, and so much more. Whatever your skills and experience, volunteering your time to supporting our office is guaranteed to make a huge difference.
- Other Volunteering Opportunities
We welcome volunteers with a wide range of interests and skills and are always looking for new ways to improve our work. If the roles listed above aren’t quite what you’re looking for, there may be other ways you can get involved. Perhaps you are a photographer with spare time to give to a good cause, a physiotherapist with the skills to assist participants in our events, or someone with fundraising experience who would like to help out.
All volunteering opportunities will generally take place in South East London, primarily Southwark, Lambeth and Bromley.
For further information please contact Michelle Winstone, Community Fundraiser via email@example.com.
Certain volunteer roles will be subject to receiving a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) Check and References.
