On Saturday 18th July 2020 Matt and Stuart undertook an epic test of endurance consisting of a 5km run, 90km cycle, 21km run. Starting in Windsor, and finishing at King's College Hospital in Denmark Hill, they were greeted at the finish line with rapturous applause.
"We both felt very buzzed but also very very tired. An odd mix!", said Matt.
Matt and Stuart decided to don the cycling shorts and trainers as part of the Kilometres for King's challenge. Sponsored by Rapha and Beeline, they powered well past their target of raising £2,000 for the Hospital Heroes Appeal, which is supporting staff, patients and families impacted by COVID-19.

Over 185 people have already joined the Kilometres for King's challenge so far, raising over £15,000 for our incredible NHS staff, and travelling over 2,100km between them. That's the distance from London to St Petersburg!
Whether you can do 1km or 100km, it all counts. You too can support our incredible NHS staff by hopping, skipping, jumping, jogging, walking… whatever clocks up the kilometres.
