The 2024 Great Hospital Hike will be Gillian's third hike, and while she is also a keen walker, she has personal reasons for taking part.
A few years ago, Gillian was seriously ill, and thankfully, King's was able to help save her life.
This was one of the reasons that inspired Gillian to become a trustee for King's College Hospital Charity.
King's is important to me because, when I was very sick, I was able to go there and get the treatment that I needed that basically has allowed me to survive.
