The Neurosurgery team at King's treat nearly 200 patients between 17-24 years old with complex neurosurgical conditions every year. They treat young people with brain and spinal tumours, epilepsy, hydrocephalus, brain injury, developmental anomalies, stroke and intracranial haemorrhage.

Passionate about giving their young patients with brain tumours and other neurological conditions the best care they deserve, Bassel and his team are fundraising to transform a space for a dedicated Teenage and Young Adult Neurosurgery Bay, creating a calm, relaxing environment for young patients and their families when they need it the most.
