Alice's story

Alice is running the 2025 London Landmarks Half Marathon after her Dad was treated at King's for a heart condition.

Alice is taking part in the London Landmarks Half Marathon on behalf of her Dad, who was diagnosed at King's with a heart condition earlier this summer, which was treated at the Princess Royal University Hospital.

Graham had a routine appointment at PRUH for a cough, but the doctors diagnosed an underlying heart condition which the family had no idea about.

The condition is under control, but it could have been more serious had it not been found it in time. Alice and her family are extremely grateful for the care provided to her Dad by King's.

Graham has ran over 30 marathons, and will be giving Alice a few hints and tips along the way for her training and the event itself.

King’s means a lot to me personally, and I just want to say thank you to the nurses, the doctors, the porters, everyone that's involved within Team King’s.
