In the past year, our amazing supporters have made many ground-breaking projects possible, which made a big difference to patients, families and staff across our hospitals.

From April 2025 to March 2026, the Charity invested in four key strategic areas:

  • £785,000 to improve patient and visitor experience
  • £835,000 in pioneering medical research
  • £750,000 to deliver new treatments and innovative equipment
  • £340,000 in support for King’s teams to ensure they can deliver the best care possible

Read our Transforming Lives Together newsletter to see how every donation helped us take care and treatment further this year. Inside, you’ll discover the real impact of your support: the lives changed, the innovations made possible, and the community strengthened by your generosity.

Together, we’ve made a garden of hope

Our community helped King’s College Hospital become the first in the UK to open a fully medically-equipped outdoor garden located on the roof top above our 60-bed critical care unit.
Refurbishment - Evelyn Room

You’ve given children in hospital the comfort they need

You’ve helped keep more families stay close by funding the refurbishment of our family rooms attached to our Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at King’s College Hospital.
Ageing Well with Sickle Cell team

You’re helping pioneer a new approach to Sickle Cell care

People are living with Sickle Cell longer than ever, so your donations will increase awareness of patients' needs, identify gaps in treatment and care and provide clinical and practical support for people who have other healthcare needs.
