Reggie's story: Running 5k a day!

18-year-old Reggie ran 5k every day in 2023, raising vital funds for the hospital that saved his life.

Reggie was born with Oesophageal Atresia and spent over 7 months in Hospital, 6 of those at King's College Hospital. During this time he underwent 3 major surgeries plus various other complications. But he was a fighter, and now at 18, Reggie has fully recovered and completed the mammoth task of running 5K for every day in 2023.

“Reggie turns 18 this year, but there were times I genuinely thought I would never get to see him grow up. The care and treatment Reggie received at King’s College Hospital was amazing and we will always be beyond grateful.”
Reggie's mum, Sharon, said that choosing King's College Hospital as their charity was a no-brainer.
