The Great Hospital Hike - Niten and Reshma's Story

Everyone has their own special story for walking the Great Hospital Hike. Niten and Reshma walked in memory of their beautiful baby daughter Dhvani who was so lovingly taken care of in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at King’s College Hospital.

Dhvani was admitted to King's College Hospital at 7 weeks old where she was treated for acute liver failure.

After 11 weeks of resilience in PICU, Reshma and Niten's little fighter decided it was her time to move on and went from warrior to angel.

"The treatment, the affection, the respect that Dhvani received at King’s is admirable and precious to us. We are incredibly thankful to everyone at King’s who cared for Dhvani.”
“We have lots of love for the PICU team there as Dhvani was in their care for quite a few weeks. Sharing the wonderful work the team do and raising money to support them means a lot to us.”

Dhvani's twin brother, Dhru, virtually cheered on his mum and dad as they walked the hike!
