Announcing the King's Elf Service

This Christmas, King’s College Hospital Charity is pleased to launch a new virtual gift appeal. The King’s Elf Service will raise funds to make sure every patient spending the holidays in one of our hospitals receives a gift on Christmas day.

Building on the success of gift appeals in previous years, we want to make sure the Charity is supporting all 1,500 in-patients during the Christmas period. So this year, we’re expanding the appeal to raise funds for gifts for all patients across all wards, not just paediatric.

Some of our patients won’t be able to have visits from their loved ones on Christmas Day which is why this appeal is so important. We want to bring a little joy to all patients in our hospitals.

We need to raise at least £10,000 to ensure every patient receives a gift. If we raise more, then the surplus funds will be used by the Charity to support our hospitals wherever the need is greatest.

The King’s Elf Service allows you to choose a virtual gift to send to a patient on behalf of yourself, or a loved one. When buying a gift on behalf of a loved one you have the option to send an e-card. The personalised e-card will include their name, a personal message and information on the gift.

We have a wide variety of gifts available to suit all ages and price ranges. Please make a difference for a patient this Christmas and visit www.kingselfservice.co.uk.
