In the context of these terms and conditions, “the Charity” means King’s College Hospital Charity, registered Charity No. 1165593, company limited by guarantee registered in England and Wales No. 09987908, having its registered office at Coldharbour Works, 245a Coldharbour Lane, London SW9 8RR, United Kingdom. The "Event" means the fundraising activity organised by you, or the third-party event you have registered for.

  • I agree to carry out my fundraising in adherence with the guidelines set out by the Fundraising Regulator.
  • I agree that all donations made towards my fundraising must be sent to the Charity within 6 weeks of the Event date.
  • If you, for whatever reason, do not take part in the Event, all sponsor forms and sponsor donations must be sent to the Charity within 6 weeks of the Event date, or returned to sponsors if they request this, and it is possible to do so.
  • I understand that I am fundraising in aid of the Charity and not on behalf of the Charity, and as such, I understand that I am responsible for organising all aspects of my fundraising and the Charity will not accept responsibility or liability relating to my fundraising.
  • I agree to cease fundraising in aid of the Charity and return all branded materials if asked by the Charity to do so.
  • I understand that the Charity will use my fundraising where it is needed most for the benefit of King’s hospitals, and there is no guarantee that my fundraising can be designated or restricted to a specific area of work. If I would like to request my fundraising be designated or restricted, I understand that I need to communicate this in writing via [email protected] prior to starting my fundraising, and whilst the Charity will aim to honour my wishes, this may not be possible.
Requests made after fundraising has started cannot be considered.
  • By taking part in or attending the Event, I agree that the Charity and official third-party providers may use without payment, notice or further consent, any photographs, videos or other images in which I appear, on our website, social network marketing activities, printed promotional material or other relevant materials.
Should you prefer the Charity to not use images in which you appear, please notify us by calling 020 4526 8051 or emailing [email protected]

    Third-party Event Participation

  • I understand that I am paying a registration fee as detailed on the website to King’s College Hospital Charity (the Charity) to take part in this Event, and undertake to do my best to raise the minimum sponsorship as detailed on the website, in addition to the registration fee and exclusive of Gift Aid.
  • I understand that the Event is not organised by the Charity, but by a third party (Event Organiser). It is my responsibility to read any information and the terms and conditions provided by the Event Organiser and to comply with these.
  • I understand that my details will be passed on to the Event Organiser, and that they may contact me about the Event.
  • I agree to complete an online registration form/sign up to a console with the Event Organiser if needed, and I understand that failure to do so by the deadline may result in my place being lost. I understand that the Charity will not be able to challenge this with the Event Organiser and that my registration fee will not be refunded in this instance.
  • I understand that it is my responsibility to read any information provided by the Charity relating to my place at the Event.
  • You will contact the Charity immediately if you need to withdraw from the Event.

You acknowledge that you are taking part at your own risk, and that the Charity will not be liable for any injury or illness that occurs as a result of your participation.
