David was treated for Psoriasis when he moved to London in 1997 by Dr Daniel Creamer, before the dermatologist started working at King's College Hospital. David later became a patient at King's in 2000, initially again under Dr Creamer's care, and has received treatment at the hospital ever since.
David is very grateful to Dr Creamer and everyone in the Dermatology department at King's for their outstanding care and for looking after him so well for more than two decades.
He says all the dermatologists have been consistently caring, empathetic and understanding, making him feel listened to and supported at every stage of his journey. Their kindness and professionalism have made what could have been a difficult experience feel much more manageable.
Recently, David has been under the care of Dr Williamson, who he sees every six months for review. David says Dr Williamson has a fantastic caring and sympathetic approach and always listens carefully to any concerns he raises with her, and has always felt that he was in safe hands.
David admits that while his Psoriasis has been uncomfortable and distressing over the years, he was very pleased to start a treatment several years ago, which not only improved his skin, but which has genuinely transformed his life.
David says the positive change has had a huge impact on his confidence and how he feels about himself.
He feels much more comfortable in his own skin and far less self-conscious, which has made a real difference to his day-to-day life. He is extremely grateful, not only for the physical improvement, but also for the positive effect it has had on his overall wellbeing.
