I would like to thank all the staff of Boddington Ward at Orpington Hospital and also the district nurses from Beckenham Beacon who are giving me post-operative care. You are all lovely cheerful and kind  people. - Terence

What would we do without you?  You are fantastic, putting yourselves at risk.  Recent experience of hospital visits you offer a smile and support in so many ways.  Your paramedics are our friends and so polite even though you are rushed off your feet.  How do you do it?  What a wonderful world it would be if everyone could act in the same way.  Thank you, thank you, for being there and for being you. - David and Maureen.

Thank you NHS staff for all that you have done. We know you have all felt the pressure and we stand by you during this pandemic.  We are grateful for you always.  Keep smiling

On March 31st, I was submitted to King's College with what proved to be two aneurysms, and needed emergency brain-operation the next day, April 1st. I spent 10 days in the hospital before being discharged. Many of my friends prayed for me.  I have nothing but gratitude towards Mr Christos Tolias and team, to Kirin from the Urgency Unit, and all the nurses who were dedicated to take care of me. You were all kind, professional, making me feel in safe hands.  God bless you and thank you all soooo much!! - Elenora.

I loved to be there, it isn't a paradise of course, but with the staff's help I could pass my time with dignity and comfort. They are so attentive to us, the food, the cleaning, the medication, everything is so organised that I was impressed with the quality of their work. Thank you team for all the good things, the times painting, talking, reading, in outside, and the patience with us (it is not easy, trust me!). - Fernando.

Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to all patients.  All of you take care and stay safe.

Thank you to King's College Hospital for looking after my daughter when she had pyloric stenosis. She has pulled through really quickly. I appreciate all you did for her on Rays of Sunshine ward. -Lauren

Thank you is not enough to express the gratitude for making dads last moments peaceful. That cleaner that smiled at me making me feel welcome, the receptionist that pointed me in the right direction, that nurse that understood how it felt, and the drs and surgeons who took the time to call me every step of the way.  You are stronger together and together you made the experience more easier thank you for choosing to work for the NHS and choosing the job you do.- Vicky

Thank you is never enough to all the staff at King's who cared for me. I will be forever grateful to the Liver unit, the transplant team, Drs, nurses, porters, cleaners, everyone involved.  I wish I could give you all a big hug, but that’s not allowed! Thanks again. -Clare.

Thank you all.  You very hard to look after us all.  Even you need to leave but you finish doing what you are doing before you leave.  Thank you so much for caring so much.

Keep up the fantastic work. My recent experience of the PRUH was exemplary and all staff have been very helpful, efficient and friendly. The service I have received could not have been better- Mark.

All the staff in your hospital King's are the best I have seen, their dedications and their kindness. I wish I can do better than my true words towards everyone who looked after me while I was in your hospital. My best regards- Makram.

Well done all staff at King's. I went for a blood test a little while ago and all staff were polite and courteous- Lillian.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the staff on Todd Ward at King’s College Hospital.  I had a liver transplant in 2008 that saved my life.  I have returned for treatment and care many times for 13 years since then, for surgery and other procedures.  I was just recently back on Todd Ward for 2 weeks and experienced the care and compassion from all the angels, male and female, that they are.  It’s a wonderfully humbling experience. With love and appreciation, Paul Carter.

I am so sorry it has taken me so long to say thank you to all the nurses and staff at Princess Royal Hospital Medical 8 Ward.  I thank you all so very, very much- Paul.

I had a baby at the PRUH in April and cannot thank the staff - both clinical and support, at the Harris Birthright centre and the PRUH- enough for their compassion, generosity of time and care putting their own health at risk to make mothers like me feel safe and reassured.  Some memorable names include Athina at HBC and Gemma at PRUH.  Thank you for all you do- Sarah.

Thank you for surgery and saving my life, for caring, and everything! – Audrone

Dear NHS staff.  You have been so incredibly courageous during the pandemic. We cannot thank you enough for being the wonderful people each and every one of you are, and for everything you have done so selflessly and with so much kindness. We support everything you do and stand for.  Thank you will never be enough to express the gratitude we feel.  Keep up the great work and thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You are all wonderful and amazing people- Shula.

Fortunately I did not come into King's due to COVID-19, but I was there for other matters during some difficult pandemic times. Thank you so much for your work and caring!

Throughout my deployment at King's College Hospital CCU (Jan - Mar) the leadership has been first class and with tenacity. The staff made us very welcome which allowed a very smooth integration  into the KCH family. The hospital never failed to amaze me. From meeting the Deputy Chief Nurse, Clare Williams on our first day, to the cleaner in CCU A, the whole team have been inspiring.

One person who stood out for me was Paul Kenny. He always had his patients and staff best interest at the forefront of his mind. Offering support (job and emotionally), guidance and direction. Even though he was redeployed into CCU from cardiac recovery, he always remained professional and never let his standards slip.  An outstanding ambassador and role model for KCH and NHS.

My time at KCH has to be in my top five highlights of my Army career. Loved every second of being part of the KCH family and working alongside our NHS.  Well done and big THANK YOU for everything you do. - Max

Thank you for everything you have done for me, my family and my friends. What you do isn’t unnoticed and you are real life superheroes. I wish you nothing but the best- Glen

Thank you very much for everything you have done for us.  You have changed the world for the better and we couldn’t have got through this pandemic without you so thank you very much.

Thank you so much for risking your lives to support other patients to get better. It’s so great to see other patients getting better- Tyler

Hi, I just wanted to say thank you to all of you, without you so many of us would not be here right now. You have put other’s lives in front of your own and put yourselves in danger to save other people's lives. Thank you so much everyone not just me is indebted to you and are so thankful. We hope you continue to do/ enjoy doing your job because you have brough smiles to everyone in a crisis. Thanks – Lily

My 3 year old son was referred to King’s A&E a few weeks ago as he needed some suturing under the care of the Max Fax team. From start to finish, everyone we met was professional and calm.  The care and dedication shown was amazing.  The paediatric team in A&E were brilliant with my son. Thank you to everyone we met. You are doing a superb job – Sarah

I would like to thank all the staff at King’s College Hospital for saving my husband’s life and for the continuous care you have given him and continue to give him over the last 4 months -Suna

Dear every dedicated NHS staff member, you all deserve a hearty and sincere thanks.  With the long and lasting working hours and limited resources during the pandemic, you all discharge your duties with utmost professional ethics.  Your care and contributions are invaluable.  My wife and I came on a chilly morning aggravated with wintry showers, once inside, the warm reception and process at the haematology department were remarkable.  The consultation went over every pathological details with attentive kindness.  We appreciate the time and patience of our doctor and nurse in treating a patient.  May all the NHS staff be blessed and charged with spirits and energies in their capacity.

Thank you so much for your fast and professional help treatment and care. Since attending King’s College Hospital, I can say that since being discharged I have been pain-free and had no further pains or treatment needed. King's are meeting COVID-19 guidelines and are sanitising everything to keep the community and patients safe. Thank you so much.  I will definitely recommend King's to family and friends. Keep safe all staff and professionals and keep up the good work.

A massive thank you to everyone at King's who looked after me after an emergency triple heart bypass operation on March 7th 2021 (I was the patient singing Neil Diamond tunes while slightly delirious.)  That's intensive care, critical care, Victoria and Albert ward and the Cotton ward.  All the cleaning staff, catering team, nurses, doctors , physiotherapy people, surgeons- thank you so much.  Sophie on Cotton Ward, Rosa I think in critical care, Pamela, Charlotte , Rose, Tia you are all brilliant. Sorry I can't remember everyone's name. You guys are amazing.  Thank you-  Paul.

God bless you all and all your colleagues. - Peter

We laid our much loved father, grandad and friend, Albert Olafare, to rest. He passed away at King's on Jan 18th. We would like to thank the team at King's particularly the nurses and Emergency Department for all of the care and support you showed to him and us during his final hours, especially in the middle of this pandemic. I would just like to say thank you so much to all the surgeons, doctors, nurses, student nurses , carers and cooks who did a fantastic job in making me feel blessed that I had all your care and attention towards me in the amazing work you all do at King’s College Hospital in Denmark Hill.  I am very grateful for all what you have done for me in the past two months and now I know, it’s my turn to give with donations towards King’s College Hospital Charity when I can. I thank you all dearly for your support in making me better again because all the women and men in King’s College Hospital Foundation Trust and the whole of the NHS around the nation are awesome.  I love you all.  Thank you- Kenneth

I am a retired Nursing Sister. I used to work in an Intensive Care Unit. I have experienced moments of high anxiety for the lives of my patients, which would last for a week perhaps. To carry on working day in day out, at the height of your ability… The conditions you have to work with, the PPE,  the heat, the uncomfortableness and to do this for nearly a year I have the utmost admiration for you all. I am so proud of you I am proud to say I was once an ITU nurse. I am proud of all the staff at King’s.

I am so sorry you are all having such a hard time. I want to say how much I admire your individual strengths and the way you are keeping going through this very difficult time. Thank you.

Thank you for hanging in there and continuing to provide top care in the most difficult of circumstances. South London is lucky to have you all.

Thank you so much for all the support!! – Dulcia

I would like to say a big thank you to everyone, at King’s College Hospital (Twilight Ward) date 8-16 of February 2021.  Without the help of God and your experience I don’t believe I would be alive today. The warm love, care and support that I received from all staff was phenomenal. As yours continues to work earnestly with God’s help to continue saving lives, my prayer to all staff member is God's blessings in your homes, going to work and returned home, thanks again for your love, and care, helping me throughout the time that I was at King’s College Hospital.- Tancha.

How can I put into words how wonderful you are? I am the same age as you and wonder at your unflinching dedication to treat us all with love and care every day, never failing to support our mental care too, with a happy reassuring persona always. Thank you so much for every day of your commitment to us all, come rain or shine.- Angela

I wanted to thank the emergency physician who treated me at King’s College Hospital. I don't know his name. I was very ashamed to speak since my English is not very good. But I am very grateful to him and I imagine that of the people he treats the same they will be.  I wanted you to know that you have an excellent doctor, and everyone who is there because they do a wonderful job- Alba

King’s staff are outstanding people who perform an outstanding service to the public who are so in need when not well for all reasons! I have just had a lifesaving operation & these wonderful people looked after me! I will for the rest of my life be forever grateful! Thank you – Hugh

To all the amazing staff at King’s College Hospital! Thank you all for being our superheroes. Words cannot explain how grateful I am for the care I received during my pregnancy visit at King’s.  Thank you all. Praying that god will continue to keep you all safe during this difficult time. Once again, thank you all.

Where would we be without you? A big thank you and air-hugs to our superheroes! – Himani

There are no words big enough for the nurses and doctors that cared for me and saved my life. Me and my family thank you from deep in our hearts.  Your kindness and caring, making us smile, cheering us up when you have so much to cope with… I want to thank your families for letting you be here for us. Without you we can’t survive- Christina.

It may have been close to ten years since I was admitted to King's College Hospital from Brighton. I had been suffering from Sepsis but was still gravely ill. I was in the LIC unit and it took a while to discover I had Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, and on at least three occasions it looked as though I may not survive. Thankfully I did, and although I have no memory of the early part of my stay, I do recall the patience and dedication of all the staff, nurses and doctors alike. Your dedication saved my life, and that is something that can never be easily repaid.  I came to the day before my birthday, and the nurse who cared for me in those first few hours was wonderful, he brought me tea and a biscuit, and really cheered me up. Although I would never want to go through that illness again, I do have some wonderfully happy memories of my time there. Thanks to everyone - you are wonderful people, and you saved my life. – Paul.

Thank you to everyone of your staff who have worked so hard and are still doing so during this pandemic, not only in ICUs but throughout all departments.

From the administration staff to the consultants at the PRUH, we are blessed to have you serving our community. I recently found myself in A&E and the level of care I received was second to none. A massive thank you to you all- Lorraine.

My message to the hospital staff is one of incredible appreciation for their professionalism. I will endeavor in no small measure to help out.  The King's College Hospital staff are superb professionals- Alpha.

Not all superheroes wear capes.  Many wear scrubs and PPE- Gary.

I was born at King's. You looked after my Dad when he had a stroke. And you gave my Mum, Aunt and Uncle the vaccine. You deserve our support and more. You are all amazing. Thank you, thank you.

Thank you SO much. We owe you the world - and at least some support. Bless you all! You are our angels.

Your professionalism and dedication as well as raw courage has been exemplary and extraordinary. I hope that the infection rate will diminish sufficiently soon for you to have a well earned rest.

King's gave us our 2 babies via IVF and we’ll be eternally grateful. We are all staying inside now and keeping safe for you.  Thank you, thank you for getting up every day and not giving up.  There are no words or ways to show you how wonderful you all are.

But re-read this message again now....and walk away knowing you are an amazing super human. AND this isn’t forever, you’re in the last mile of this horrific marathon

My mum has been in ICU at King’s for a month now. I am so grateful to the staff for taking care of her. As a family this has broken us and we cry everyday praying she will get better. Your staff have been brave, empathetic and supportive. We say thank you every time we get an update on the phone but it doesn’t feel like enough. We wish we could see our mum every day and our only comfort is knowing that you have all been so attentive with her. From the bottom of my heart thank you so much. -Naomii

Not a day goes by without me thinking about King’s College Hospital. You saved our son’s life in August 2019 on the Liver Intensive Care Unit. King’s always has a place in my heart from growing up having operations there, to having our 2nd son there, then having our 3rd transferred to NICU.  I have always been immensely grateful for the amazing staff and think about you all often in this pandemic.  I'm sorry this has fallen to you guys to bear the brunt of it, you are all incredibly amazing people and I'm in awe of the selflessness you all show. We are grateful for you every day and are staying home to support you. We will not take silly risks in respect for what you are enduring for us. – Eve

To lovely ward 6 at Farnborough.  I really need to come in, as your care is the best, and you are all wonderful and I can’t thank you enough.  But I have to wait longer until you are non-Covid as I know I may not make it if I catch it. I’m praying for you all for safety and your well-being and a huge THANK You and see you all soon.  Big hugs. – Jacqueline.

My dad, Michael Roberts, is leaving the Princess Royal today after 13 days being treated for Covid.  He has been looked after by staff in A&E, Surgical 2, CCU, Medical 9.  There will never been enough words or sufficient words to describe how grateful we are to all of you for saving his life and making him better again.  We are truly humbled by your care, kindness, endless strength, paitence and determination.   My dad was an Intensive Care patient but there wasn't enough room on the ward for him, he was looked after by Intensive care staff and another nurse, my dad wasn't her patient, she showed him such kindness and love, he cries when he talks about her.  You gave us back our beloved father, grandad and husband. I have so much respect for our nations workers, they have done an absolutely fantastic job during these hard times. One of my housemates, a student nurse, is doing particularly well.  When she comes home from work the first thing she does is sit on her phone for a while and enjoy the digital world.  I can’t imagine how much stress she is under right now. but I see the way she holds herself when she gets home, and it's all too familiar. I will stop at nothing to make sure that our NHS get the best help possible, and, I will do my best to comfort all of my housemates. My Heart goes out to you all. I love you all so much. be kind.

I have donated to KCHC as the staff tried to save my beautiful daughter Nichola who was admitted 23rd December with a brain tumor but sadly passed 27th December.

I think the NHS are the most amazing people I've ever met, they give their all to strangers and put you at ease when you are unwell.  They deserve every penny and each and everyone deserves a medal for what they've been through this last year. Well done I love you all!

Thanks for all you do all the time - a great community of dedicated people

Both our children were born at King’s. Our family already owed you all so much. Thank you so much for the incredible work you're doing to keep us all safe.

We are still with you.  Keep up the great work you do.

You are doing an amazing job. My daughter's father in law died this morning from Covid contracted while in a King’s College Hospital. The ward staff were brilliant. Also my own son is a pediatrician and his friend is an anesthetist both working within the King's trust and are both significantly affected by the effects of the pandemic. They are kind and caring and anything you can do to support them when they are exhausted is welcome.

I was recently in KCH due to Covid.  I was in Twining ward. I was extremely grateful for the support from all the staff. I only wish that I could give more. Thank you all so much.

I would just like to say how much I have appreciated the professionalism and kindness I have received following my procedures and vaccination. My very best wishes to everyone in these troubled times.

What you are doing and what you have achieved is truly amazing and deeply appreciated. Thank you so much. My wife and I hope and pray that you will all beat the virus and the associated consequences of stress and exhaustion.

We owe our heroes in hospitals and the care service more than words can ever express.

We are so grateful for all you are doing, let's hope it won't be for too much longer, we send our love.

My father died last year in Donne Ward and you were all amazing.  I am thinking of you all and all the brilliant work you are doing in these difficult times.

I cannot imagine how desperate it must be for you all, and this is at least a way of sending you virtual hugs and support.

Well done.  Your efforts are appreciated and we can only imagine the stress you are under.  Hopefully things will ease off soon.

I have been a patient at King’s and the staff were so professional and friendly that it was difficult to believe the pressure they were working under, good luck to all and stay safe.

Heartfelt thanks to you all. There aren't words enough to express our gratitude for the risks that you are taking for us every day and all that you do. Stay safe and stay well.

Thinking of all the staff at King’s and hoping you keep safe in the forest of risks you are working in.  I don't know how you keep going day in day out (and nights too).  You are all our best wonder drug so far. Fingers crossed vaccinations start to make a difference, giving you some space to breathe. Fingers crossed!

You were there for us when we needed you most. How we wish we could ease the load for you now. Hold on tight, hold on to each other. We know you hold on to us all when we need you. Thank you. Thank you.

You saved my uncle's life when he caught Covid in March. You helped my newborn learn to feed when she was admitted at three days old in July. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

The son of a very dear friend died in the ICU at King’s a few years ago. His care there was incredible. I have never forgotten how dedicated, hardworking and generally amazing the staff were. My heart goes out to them in these awful times.

We have lived in the area for over 30 years and you have always been there for us, through the birth of our two daughters to most recently chemo for breast cancer and many times in between. We value deeply what you do and you are forever in our hearts. Warmest wishes.

I'm a past patient of King’s and glad to say I'm recovering well. I wish I could offer more support at this time but hope everything can return to normal for you all soon.

Thank you for all you do. Please know that we admire and appreciate both your professionalism and your very hard work.

Heart surgery in 2010 saved my husband's life.  Thanks for all your dedicated staff did then, and for all they're doing now.  Since moving up north we've supported the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and our local hospital.  Stay safe, and keep fighting.

As a retired King’s trained nurse, who still lives locally and uses your facilities, I want to say an enormous thank you for all you are doing and also I am so proud of you all.

I thank you with all  my heart for your strength and expertise during this terrible time.  I wish that this will soon be over for everyone  and that you will get the recognition you so deserve.  Thank you

My admiration for you all and for your emotional and physical courage knows no bounds.

I was in King's twice during 2020 and cannot say how much I appreciate the care and dedication of the staff. A prayer that 2021 will be a better year for all of us

Thank you for your wonderful work. Praying for your safety and well-being in these difficult days

My wife and I are thinking of you all working so hard and so unselfishly in caring for Covid and other patients, and we are so grateful to you.

You have been a great support to many people during Covid whilst still carrying on with all the usual patients like myself! Always kind, considerate and helpful! Good to give something back!!

Thank you for all the hard work that you have done and are continuing to do. It is a very challenging time but with all the work that you do, we will get through this. Thank you again.

I applaud and am grateful for your, and other front line workers, heroic efforts during this horrendous time. A donation to whatever helps you seems so much better than clapping.

Please try to keep going, impossible and exhausting as it must sometimes seem.   You are always valued, now more than ever.

King’s College saved my son's life many years ago. I can never thank you enough for giving him back to me. I know how wonderful you all are and really feel for you at this desperate time. People like me will never forget what you did and what you are doing. 'Thank you' can never be enough. Take heart, your devotion is so much appreciated. God Bless, stay safe and strong. You truly are amazing!!!

I am in complete awe and admiration of your selfless dedication.  You also saved the life of my beloved grandson and I will always be indebted to you.

I hope that in your darkest and toughest moments you will know that you are doing your very best in a very difficult situation and that those of us in hospital and out are so very grateful for you all you do.

You have my unbounded admiration at this most difficult time.  Hope it helps to know that millions, like me, are thinking of you and wish you well.  God bless you!

I have a mum who is clinically vulnerable person. We have been doing our utmost to keep her safe.  We wish everyone would take the same steps as our family to keep their family safe.  An lessen the unbearable anxieties an stress your staff are suffering. We as a family are a staunch believer in NHS and the  Amazing staff working in King's College Hospital.  Doctors, Nurses and all the members of staff deserve huge praise for their selfless dedication in the midst of this epidemic.

I am donating to express my gratitude to your staff who take good care of me when I was confined due to COVID infection from 28 to 30 March 2020 during the first week of National lockdown.  Thanks to the Ambulance/Paramedics who took me from the house and sent me back home too when I was discharged, the staff who was checking me while I was in the Emergency Room as she gave me food to eat and water before I take the first dose of my medicine/antibiotics, and the Doctors and Nurses who took care of me while I was at Annie Zunz Ward. Thank you very much! Stay Safe. God bless you all!

Keep going guys you are doing a grand job and we love you for it xxx

Thank heavens for your astonishing strength and resilience in this awful time, while we're waiting for the vaccine. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

You are all doing such an amazing job in providing the best possible patient care, at personal sacrifice. I joined the Finance Dept at King’s because I wanted to make a difference and I admire all the staff on the front line so much. Keep going, there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

I have been a patient at both KCH and the PRUH for the past four years. During that time I could not have received better treatment  from all of the staff. Wonderful people.

This comes with such gratitude for all the staff who cared for me on Cardiac ITU in November and with love and prayers for you all. Everything you do makes a difference.

I received amazing care from the nursing staff after I was seriously injured in a RTA. I can never thank them enough

I was a carer and husband for my wife until she died. We came to King’s a good deal. I think about the King’s staff a lot and am well aware of the pressures you must all be under. I want to express and immense gratitude for the work and dedication that all of you must be putting in everyday and want you to know that we are all rooting for you. I am doing my bit in the only way I know how, by staying at home and only going out when I really have to, and I follow every BBC news story that comes from NHS hospitals. Keep up the good work, hopefully there is light at the end of the tunnel now with the vaccinations.

A small donation but I hope it goes some way to helping.  This is just to let you know that the people stuck at home are thinking about you.  Thank you.

My wife is an out-patient at King's and we appreciate your care and feel for you all in the difficult time you are going through. Thank you for all your hard work. Our daughter is working in Southampton hospital ICU so we can sympathise. May the Lord bless you.

My Daughter trained as a Paeds nurse at Kings. My son-in-law is a paramedic. My other son-in-law is a local police officer. I am a retired Police Officer who had many visits to A & E at King’s. You are all the best, stay safe.

Thank you so much for the incredible job you have been, and continue to do on behalf of all of us. I am so grateful for all the sacrifices that you are making, and hope you continue to get the support you need.

Thank you so much for all you do all the time but especially now during this horrible pandemic.

Thank you so much for your dedication and incredible hard work.  We all owe you a huge debt of gratitude

You delivered our son in October 2019 and are now helping us all in another hour of need! Thank you for all that you are doing.

My brother in law has been in ICU for four weeks now, all staff we have spoken to have been patient, kind and considerate, we cannot begin to thank them enough for all the care they have provided him and my sister.

Thank you for all your hard work.  Covid-19 has really shown everyone who is important in this world.  We wouldn't be able to get through this crisis without the brilliant NHS and its staff.

As a current cancer patient I have nothing but awe and admiration for the staff at King's, I visit regularly and you wouldn't know how much pressure everyone is under as they're all so cheerful. Thank you so much for everything you're doing.

We can't thank you enough for carrying on throughout this terrible time, you are truly heroes and deserve a big hug and hopefully a nice relaxing break very soon

I have worked for King’s for 9 years and the NHS for 12. I am currently on maternity leave from my post at Orpington Hospital. I feel helpless and wish I could do more, I am so proud to work for kings and the amazing staff who work there. You are all so amazing!! You will get through this.

I'm so sorry you are having to make the sacrifices you are to care for those in the hospital and that it so tough for you at this time. I hope you get the support you need and so deserve.

Thank you so much team King's for your continuously amazing, outstanding work! I've been looked after at King's after a bicycle accident a few years back, since had a baby at King's (which has been to children's A&E a few times since birth) and am now expecting my second baby. The care at your hospital has always been outstanding and all the staff are so warm and caring. I cannot begin to imagine what a challenge Covid19 must pose for you and your working conditions and just want to say THANK YOU.

I was a patient briefly towards the end of October 2020 and was so grateful for the care from the staff in the A&E, Guthrie and Annie Zunz wards gave to me. I am very concerned about the physical and mental stress that everyone is feeling at King's at this critical time. I hope my small donation will help to provide some respite from all the stress.

Thanks for all your exceptional help in these troubling times - we realise that you are having a very difficult time and we are most appreciative of your work.

We can never repay you for the enormous efforts you're all putting in to care for those suffering with Covid-19. Know that you're in our prayers and thoughts and we hope that the light at the end of the tunnel will appear very soon.

You are all doing a truly wonderful job during this appalling crisis.  It is much appreciated.  I am praying for you and that this will end soon. May you have time to recover eventually.

Thank you to everyone working at King’s. I first knew you from watching 24 Hours in A&E but then I moved to London and received treatment in gastroenterology. You then helped my now husband when he broke his arm and we spent the night in A&E. I think of King’s every time I pass on the bus. I regard you all highly and I hope the charity helps you have some well deserved treats and support right now.

You are all incredible!  I cannot even begin to describe the debt this country owes to your dedication and care. Thank you all so much!

Just wanted to say thank you so very much for looking after (performing what I consider a miracle) my husband and our boy’s dad, Daren Pool, from COVID-19. You guys are our heroes

Thank you so very much for putting so much effort in caring for people, keep up the marvelous work you are doing. All our love to you all.

Our family love the NHS and all who commit to the care of others.  Thank you so much for your dedication and fortitude at King’s, especially in ploughing through in dealing with this disgusting virus.  We are sincerely grateful to you all.

I know you will all be working so hard and coming to work each day, putting yourselves at risk to do your job but to give hope and care to so many of these ill patients. You have and will be their lifeline during the next few days, weeks and months. You are in my thoughts and prayers daily. Thank you for all you do. You truly are heroes, going above and beyond to help others.

Thank you for everything you are doing for all of your patients. I’ve always felt proud to represent the hospital on the rugby field and now feel more so. You have done amazing things to look after me, my family and many of my friends. Your efforts during this pandemic are heroic. I salute and respect you all.

I have been under King's College Hematology on and off since 2010 and having Chemotherapy at present and wish to express my thanks and support for the wonderful staff and their untiring efforts.

I wish there was more we could do. You are all doing an incredible job.

Cannot thank you all enough for everything you're doing at the moment. While we're all tucked up at home, you guys are working flat out in horrible circumstances. The only thing we can do at home is to keep following all the rules. Thank you everyone at King's and in the whole of the NHS

Thank you so much for the selfless service you give to the sick. Special gratitude at this time when a lot of people are staying at home to keep safe from this dreadful virus but you go out to work daily to alleviate human suffering. May God bless, strengthen, protect and keep you all strong, healthy and give you peace.

Just a big thank you to all the doctors, nurses and staff for all your hard work. I spent 61 days in the PRU and saw what a tough job you all had before the pandemic. Can’t imagine what it must be like for you all now. You are the greatest!!

You saved my life at the beginning of this pandemic and for that I am so grateful. Thank you so, so much for all that you did and continue to do. Stay safe and best wishes to you all.

My wife has been undergoing chemotherapy in the hospital. Today is her last session. Everyone has been incredible, the doctors, nurses, the team in the cafe who have kept me fed and watered, whilst I have taught my school class online during the chemo sessions. Even the chap who never stops cleaning, keeping the toilets in the café spotless. And all this during the pandemic crisis. Everyone single one of them is a hero in our minds. Thank you. Keep going all of you, you are amazing.

I wish I could do more to help but for now all I can do is say that you're all worth your weight in gold and you're truly the very best of humanity.

You are all working so hard - thank you so much! We are all so grateful to you, please know that we care about your wellbeing.

We're digging deep for you. Thank you for being amazing.

It is a great pleasure to be able to help. Kings is run fantastically I have been in 2020, admitted to kings for major surgery, a whipples procedure, plus liver surgery. I was treated with superb kindness in all departments. I attended day visits and have been treated with dignity and kindness wherever I have been in the hospital it is a place where one feels safe.  Once again superb care from all departments  Thank you.

We deeply appreciate your dedicated and selfless service to your patients and are sorry for the great stress you are bearing. Many, many thanks.

Thank you for looking after my toddler so well when he was ill from Covid on the Toni and Guy ward after Christmas.

Can't believe how you all keep putting yourselves on the front line day after day!  You have our utter admiration and respect!  Above all look after yourselves and stay safe for your families.

I just want to say how very grateful I am to you all. You have given us so much support over the years, I gave birth to my youngest son at King's, which wasn't straightforward, and sixteen years later you saved his life when he tried to take it through depression (he is now doing really well, and is a happy, generous lovely man). My husband has had successful heart surgery under your care and you've seen us through all sorts of scrapes in between, with four children we got to know A&E quite well.  I cannot begin to imagine the strain you are under at the moment, and hope you can get all the support you will need when things on the ground improve.  Meanwhile I am doing everything I can not to contribute to your workload, and encouraging others to do the same. I send you all love and thanks. - SJ

Thank you for all that you do , you go over and beyond your duty of care. We will forever be grateful to your for your dedication to your local population. - Valerie.

I just can't thank you enough, for your commitment, leadership, generosity, love and contribution. What you are doing is absolutely incredible. I'm so sorry it's so hard on you. Everyone on my SW2 road is in awe of you all. We love you. Thank you.

Words really cannot say enough - but THANK YOU all for everything that you are doing.  I am praying for all of you and supporting you in a small way by buying a coffee and sending it out to as many people as possible.

A massive thank you to all the staff who get up and go into work regardless the situation and fight to keep so many of us alive! A special shout out to the liver transplant team if it was not for them I would not be here today! – Zac.

I am hugely grateful to the wonderful staff at King's where my mother died this week, aged 92, after contracting covid on top of other conditions. She has received excellent care at King's several times in the last few years, but I'd like to make special mention of the wonderful, kind and compassionate palliative care team who made her last days comfortable, and also helped us through it so sensitively, and to all the staff on Byron Ward.

King's will always have a very special place close to my heart, they are honestly like a second family to me and one of my favourite places to visit; It’s like a second home to me having been going there for 22 years I don’t know any different.  I have so much love and great appreciation and admiration for everything that they have supported me with; Kings has made me the person I am now so I thank every doctor and nurse at King's who knows me and have treated me. I know for a fact that the world would be a different place for me without them x

I cannot begin to imagine what it must be like on your covid wards - how you drag yourselves into work each shift is a miracle.  You must be exhausted, scared, sad and wondering how much more you can take.  But it takes a special person to do what you’re doing - someone who is strong, capable, totally selfless and kind and caring - you are all those things and more, and although everyone outside is looking out for themselves , you are looking after everyone else and putting yourself last.  Thank God for you and your colleagues - this will never be forgotten by those who you have helped and touched with your special Gifts of kindness and selflessness.  All we can wish is that this is over soon and that you yourself stay safe and well.  Take care of yourself when you can and know that we thank you from the bottom of our hearts

I would like to thank the staff on the Charles Polkey ward. Especially to Mr Zebian for my life saving operation.  Not forgetting the doctors too.  A big thank you. Xx. Thank you King's - Kirsty.

God bless you all. What on Earth would we do without your compassion, hard work and your selflessness? I hope you’re keeping your spirits up and that all you nurses know how deeply, deeply grateful to you we all are? - Rebecca

Thank you for everything you are doing! We are in awe of you: you are amazing. You are the best of humanity.  I had my baby boy, Otto, at King's in October 2018 and you were amazing then too! Sending you love, Sophie

You cared for me despite dealing with the Pandemic.  I have completely recovered from the Brain Surgery. You are all such inspiring human beings. Not all superheroes wear capes many wear nurses uniform.  The totally selfless care you all dispense is incredible and inspirational. Thank you. God Bless you and God Bless the NHS.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for all that you have done and continue to do. I can’t imagine the pressure that you have been under this year but am so enormously grateful that you continue to do your vital work. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

The huge gift that you keep giving us, of your time, kindness, passion and care is deeply appreciated. You must be exhausted and spent giving so much for so long. Thank you does not seem enough. Our heroes are running on empty and we are holding you close in our hearts and prayers.

Thank you to nurses Rina , Sally and Lolly in the PRUH's day surgery unit today, they were wonderful, caring and kind. It was very much appreciated. A great example of the nursing profession.

The care my husband received from Medical 5 Princess Royal was outstanding. You may be on your knees with tiredness but your care is quite simply amazing. Keep going you wonderful people we are all with you.

Thank you for all your wonderful work from a former patient whose life was saved by King's.

Over 100 years ago, the doctors and staff fought to save the life of a young women, they succeeded. She was my father's mother. What you do today, and every day is to make the future, without your efforts, for many families there is no future.

I will be forever grateful to the surgeons, doctors and nurses at King's for saving my life in 2012.  Thank you for what you did for me in 2012 and thank you for what you are doing now.

Thank you for your work for us, strength and solidarity to you. All the very best- Josh P.

As with all the NHS you are doing a fantastic job in these very hard times. I owe my health to King's having been a patient for many months  in 1957 and I am pleased if my small donation helps in these difficult times.

I have received wonderful support from King's College hospital from incredibly supportive and professional staff all our thoughts are with all of you and I hope this gives you the strength to continue with helping and healing all the patients who rely on you all so much.

My daughter and I appreciate all the staff are doing for patients especially at this critical time. My daughter was well cared for at King's this time last year!

I received great care from consultants and staff at King's College Hospital for Thyroid issues in 2020.  Thank you. Wish I could afford to give more.

We have a very good friend MATT EDWARDS who is an A and E consultant at King's and my mom had a craniotomy at King's in March 2020 and the staff at the hospital were amazing so I wanted to donate something to help all the amazing staff at King's through this awful period. KEEP GOING, YOU HAVE GOT THIS, IT WILL GET EASIER

I would like to donate a little for the generosity and professional care I received whilst at King's liver unit.  You have an amazing team from surgeons nurses to support staff.  Many thanks- Melvin

Thank you for all you do. You are in our prayers for your safety. May God give you strength and peace to cope.  God bless you xxx

Please keep it up and be so so proud of yourself every day. You make Britain and the world proud.

Have been using King's a lot recently (for non Covid reasons) and am impressed with how the hospital and staff are coping under current restrictions. Many thanks to all staff for their hard work.

Thank you all so much for your dedication in these terrible times. We - your community- are thinking of you with great gratitude.

T H A N K   Y O U  for being there for all of us (even the idiots)

"Hi my amazing NHS staff.  Especially my Angels in Mary Falconer Ward , who along with the oncology brain tumor team have without doubt saved my life.  In this difficult time with Covid, you did without flinching or stepping back, gave me a 55 year old man , the specialist amazing care you give to all your patients. But this is personal to me and my family and friends.  I thank you from the bottom of my heart I won’t name the nurses names because if they see my name they will know who I was because I insisted that my whole ethos in life is treat people how you wish to be treated yourself.   Life would be amazing if the world took this philosophy. You wonderful nurses made me feel at ease when I was scared, calm when I was at the edge of panic, love and compassion when I was in tears, medication when I had pain. Skills are given to you by training,  the others are truly from your heart and make you the beautiful souls you undoubtedly are. - Paul R.

Thank you guys for helping Bailey my son. We truly appreciate the professionalism and quality care we received.  What an amazing job you do here at kings college. Bailey is safe and well because of you and that will never be forgotten, I have the utmost respect for you all. Unfortunately I can’t remember everybody’s name who looked after us. Special thanks to consult Lowe and his team, the theatre team, also Toni and guy ward/ Rays of Sunshine ward, and every person we dealt with.  Much love your all amazing people, - From the Newstead family.

Thank you for saving my Mum’s life (again) in May of this year. She would not be here now to celebrate Christmas with me without all you wonderful people! Absolute heroes and heroines. The most amazing hospital and we LOVE you! Thank-you. Merry Christmas! Love from Jason & Vivienne Nethercott

Every single one of you - admin, porters, volunteers, doctors, nurses, students, everyone I can think of – indeed all staff are doing an incredible job. You are truly HEROES to humanity xxxx - Roz Miles

You work tirelessly and to say thank you is not enough. Every time I hear of people discredit anything the NHS does, don't worry I have your back. Anytime I see people spreading disinformation about this pandemic, don't worry I have your back. I am so proud to live in a country like the UK. Nowhere else in the world is there free health care like here and the great jewel in our hearts like the NHS . The tireless work you all do in light of this unusual and desperately frightening time I salute you. I wish I could pay all your rents and feed you healthy food all year round. I wish you all a happy and healthy 2021 and may this all be over soon and may everyone in NHS survive this pandemic and come out the other side unscathed. I am in awe of you and could not do what you do day in day out, I wish every bit of the best for all of you. Have a great winter solstice, Christmas, or just a break from it with family or friends, I hope you stay well. Best of everything for you all at this time, in 2021 and in the future. - Wendy

I would like to send my heartfelt wishes to all NHS staff, especially to the staff on Murray Falconer ward for their caring professionalism whilst I was recovering from operation. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL.

Words alone do not cover the enormity of the service you are providing but nevertheless I say a big thank you for putting your lives on hold to care for us. God bless you all.

I recently had my knee operated on and would like to say thank you and merry Christmas to each and every single one of you for your help during this time of year and with the circumstances that we are all dealing with.

Thank you to the wonderful nurse that helped me in the shower back in October. I was on David Marsden ward and had been given tons of senna, I had a little accident and she was so so kind about it and just helped to clean me up. I was so embarrassed but she just got on with it and put me at ease. So am sure you know who you are unless there were many more like this thank you all so much for the wonderful work you do. Karma works both ways and you will get good karma xxx

This message is for all the wonderfully dedicated and beautiful staff at King's who aided me through my surgery and recovery. May the good lord continue to bless you all and your families keep up the good work

Thank you to all our wonderful doctors, nurses and all the support staff at all our five hospitals. A simple thank you is not enough but we do appreciate all you do with such dedication, love and compassion. Whatever Christmas brings I wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and let us hope that 2021 will be a much better year for everyone. My motto KEEP WELL, KEEP SAFE, KEEP POSITIVE AND KEEP SMILING. - Chrissy Bright

Thank you all the wonderful staff in the NHS for your tireless work throughout these very challenging times. Let’s hope for better days ahead!

"I've been living an additional 10 years thanks to a liver transplant done at King's. Good luck to all of you and stay strong! Thank you so much for your skills and dedication."

"Living in Bromley, we are extremely lucky to have been taken over by King's, with all your expertise.  Additionally, it is the local hospital for my son, daughter-in -law and my lovely grand-daughter, whom you helped to bring into the world almost a year ago.  Everyone thought (and still do) that the care you gave was second to none. Hope you have a good christmas, esp. after such a year! God bless you all!"

"Best wishes too all of the staff at King's College Hospital. This hospital looked after me for 6 weeks (in the Katherine Monk and Christine Brown Critical Care wards) in 2016 following an RTC and I am forever indebted to all the staff and doctors for their hard work and care. My thoughts are with them and I hope that the 'second wave' of Covid-19 impacts them as little as possible."

"Just a big Thank You for hanging in there and finding that inner strength to keep going."

"A huge thank you for your tireless hard work and keeping us all safe."

"I want to thank the Staff at Kings as they saved my life back in December 2018. I suffered a Brain Haemorrhage and was there for 6 weeks."

"Carrying on when you're exhausted - that takes real guts. THANK YOU!"

Thankyou for everything you do. My baby was born sick at King's and I’ll never forget the care we had.

You helped my son after a motorbike accident in 2018 - I saw first hand your dedication and the challenges you all faced prior to COVID-19. Your work is more vital to the community than ever now . Thank you all.

I had open-heart surgery at King's College Hospital in 2015. Without all the members of the medical teams I wouldn't be here now. I remember a nurse sitting by my bed and holding my hand through the night in the recovery unit and I salute her and all the members of your staff for their dedication and commitment to their job, no matter how important or small.

"Thank you for your hard work for our community. I wish the holidays find all of you and your families healthy and with peace"

Thank you for everything you do. We will absolutely be thinking of you through Christmas and beyond. We feel so privileged to have a hospital like King's on our doorstep and so indebted to its staff for the care they provide.

I can't count the number of times my family and I have been helped in one way or another by the amazing staff at King's. You are all - medical staff, nursing staff and support staff - amazing people. Thank You!

Thank you for my Liver Transplant of 4 years ago - still enjoying every day since.

I worked for King's College Hospital myself for nearly 20 yrs starting at Dulwich hospital. I retired in 2014, I still keep in touch with my colleagues.  I understand exactly how hard the staff work often not knowing when they are going to get a break.

To all staff, a big thank you for being there and caring for all that come through the doors.

I was recently a patient at King's and I was so touched by the support and care that I received during my week long stay. I cannot fault it and this donation is a small token of my appreciation which I hope will help to support the fantastic work that everyone at King's does.

Thank you for the days and nights of training, thank you for giving up your social life, thank you for coming in when you were tired and it was cold.  Thank you for trying to save my life and all the others.

I owe so much to King's Fertility clinic and Harris Birthright back in 2018. In January that year I embarked on my 3rd FET and thankfully had a positive test. 20 week scan was told my daughter could be born at anytime. I was taken in for emergency stitch and weekly scans and gave birth at 34 weeks in PRUH to a beautiful healthy 5lb 8oz little girl called Eliza. 2 years on she is my everything and it's down to the doctors at King's that she is still here. I will forever be in your debt and will tell her when she's older how special she actually is. Merry Christmas to you all and thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Heartfelt thanks and my love to you all, even though to me that feels totally inadequate for what you do. Bless you.

I know personally how amazing the staff are, they saved my life back in 2009 when I needed an emergency liver transplant. To all the staff I am eternally grateful. We will all be thinking of you over Xmas, stay safe and I hope you manage to enjoy some festive cheer.

You have had one hell of a year! Three cheers for your dedication, enthusiasm and resilience. You are worth your weights in gold! Thank you.

You are all amazing. Be strong. So many people are cheering for you" - Edel

Every one of you is a HERO! Thanks for being you. - Ian

You probably don't realise it anymore or feel it, but every time we see you in uniform walk by or approaching us, we feel automatic comfort and relief. What you do is that powerful. Every day, for each of us. So please don't let the world grind you down, as you are so important in ways you don't even notice anymore. But we always will. Thank you, it will get better. - Syd

King’s has been there for the delivery of my baby brother, that naughty baby brother’s horribly cut finger, my mum who needed help, my skateboard related injured arm, the now love of my life who had a near fatal accident before I even knew him...  I think about the hospital and its teams fighting every day to keep people alive. When people don’t seem thankful or the news tells you that no one seems to care, there will always be those with you in their minds. Thank you" - Hannah

On 6 November I attended CT Suite for annual monitoring scan - 10* for pre-appt liaison & preparation, timing, technique, interest in the patient, explanation, enquiring if untoward effects - and I'm sure it is likewise in other departments. Your efforts above and beyond are so much appreciated."

I was recently at King's with my daughter who needed an operation. I was blown away by the standard of care and the kindness from staff. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of you working on the frontline.

Keep up the good work. Your efforts are truly appreciated. Keep safe.

You're brilliant!  Keep shining!

You saved my life in 2014 - keep up your great work!

I had my heart value operation at King's. I have seen myself how hard every member of team works from cleaners to Surgeons and the loving care from the jolly smiling Nurses.  This was before about 6 years ago.  So with Covid-19 I just hope that they are able to have a break.   My gift is not much but I hope it helps someone.

I am receiving treatment at King's College Hospital and am very grateful to all the friendly supportive lovely caring staff there.  Thank you very much

I had a liver transplant at King's on Valentines Day 2015 and although I am now retired and dependant on my Pension I will continue to donate each year £100 on both the anniversary of my transplant in memory of the donor and a further £100 to your Christmas Appeal for as long as i can afford to and leave it to yourselves to allocate my donations as  you see fit - Best Wishes Robbie

Everyone still had a smile on their faces.  You may just say you are doing your job, but to me you are all heroes, putting your lives on the line. A big big THANK YOU!

Thank you all at King's College Hospital for all the tireless work you do, and from a personal point of view thank you for trying, as it turned out, in vain to keep my wife and mother of my two young children with us. God bless all who work for the NHS. We all as a nation owe you all a great deal of gratitude.
- Daniel

Thank you so much for looking after me when I had breast cancer and helping me deliver my 2 children safely.
- Lul

I am forever grateful to all the amazing staff in the Cardiac Care Unit, especially the Sam Oram ward for saving my life at Christmas and again in January. Without your expertise, care and compassion I would not be here today. I owe you my life. I cannot imagine the strain you must have all been under over the last few awful months with the added stress of COVID-19. I think of all the wonderful staff every day and will never ever forget you all. I would love to donate but as I am still recovering at home without earnings. All I can do for the moment is to send you my greatest respect & best wishes.

From an ex-nurse.

I would like to dedicate every single day of my life to every single staff member who works in the Liver department. Not just doctors and nurses, but every single staff member including cleaners were there to support me and talk to me at my hardest time. The care and love I had when I went through my liver transplant is amazing. I see you guys as my superheroes. You guys are beyond God.  Everyday of your service is a blessing added to your life guys.

We are so amazed and proud of you all, working and adapting to all these horrific challenges, made worse by having leave and social gatherings cancelled, all the while wondering as information unfolded about COVID, what monster you could be exposing yourselves and your families to. A huge thank you to you all.
- Enid and Simon.

I want to say thank you to everyone both the doctors and nurses that are working in King's College Hospital. I pray every day for you all for saving my life many years ago. A message of thanks and support via Live Loudly Donate Proudly, our daughter's campaign for organ donation. Lucia was given a 4th liver transplant in King's at the end of December last. Despite incredible care and mammoth commitment to recovery from Lucia and all around her, it couldn't happen. Lucia died on 24th May in LITU. We, her family, are deeply grateful to all in King's who gave Lucia, and all of us, your very best. With grateful, though hurting hearts, we hope this day and all days you will be confirmed in your commitment to care, proud of all you achieve and determined to protect, improve and grow this incredible public service. Thank you.

I would not have my wonderful daughter if you hadn't kept looking after me. and also looked after me when I had to come to A&E twice whilst COVID-19 was happening! You are truly amazing! - Valerie

So many people and their families in the UK are so grateful for all the care and attention that has been given to them by those who work for the NHS, and we acknowledge the personal sacrifices that so many of the staff have made over so many years. We look to the future when we, as citizens of the UK can continue to have confidence that there will be a caring NHS for whenever we may require it.

A very big thank you to all the NHS staff for their devotion to their patients and the very long hours to keep everyone safe.
-Shirley

We are old-age pensioners, not too much money but the love and care shown to my wife at King's neurologist last June with a brain haemorrhage.... If we had been Royalty we could not have been treated better.
A million thanks and she is still here doing so well.
-Mike

To all the staff working for this institution, thank you for the amazing things you do day in and day out. Your efforts are much appreciated.  Kudos to every single one of you for your efforts and hard work. Thank you.
-Truddy

Thank you for all you've done for me and my family over the years.

In 2010, I was barely able to walk. I was given a new life by the Doctors at King's College Hospital.  Their skill and dedication is beyond expectations. To me, they are 'Demi Gods' for now I am able to walk and I have regularly been able to raise funds for the hospital.  From 1st Jan to 30th June, I have walked 754 miles (1,697,217 steps)  of which since 23th March to 30th June , 465 miles (1.094,919 steps ) in my garden. It's only possible because of the after care and attention given by the Doctors and Nurses. May God give them every strength to carry on the wonderful work they do. I am eternally grateful.
-Dr Surjit Singh Bhalla

I want to thank each and everyone of you working in our  hospitals and community.  The NHS has been here for me and family all through my life, at the good times when my children were born, providing life-saving care in emergencies and at the very last when my mother died.  My mum was one of the first nurses, she became a nurse in 1946, so the NHS has truly been at the centre of our lives and really has provided care from the cradle to the grave for us.  Your work through the current pandemic has been awe-inspiring. Thank you for always being there for all of us, no matter what.
-Polly

Thank you NHS workers especially those in King's college who helped my children's grandma fight COVID-19. God bless you all.
-Alexander

They do what they do because it gives them a sense of warmth, joy & pride.
To take care of us, they work so hard,
So we can get better and go home.
Sometimes things may not work out the way they hope, but they still do their best no matter what.
Even though their hours are long, hard, sometimes unappealing, & unappreciated
They still care for us each one in their own special way.
An angel sent to us from God.
When they do this job, They have real compassion and truly care for people from the very bottom of their hearts.
When we come to them, we are sick and scared when all our hope is gone.
They give their best efforts no matter who we are.
They smile from accomplishment when we can walk out and go home on our own two feet.
It's not the fame that makes them do it.  It's the love for life and compassion to help others who can't help themselves.
They deserve our respect, our trust & our love.
They are our angels walking with us, holding our hands, lifting us up if we fall, a shoulder to cry on, a face to talk to.
Angels sent upon us from God above.
- Andrew

You saved my life on the 28th of June last year. The hospital gave me a liver transplant. I was put on the list on Friday and called on Monday.  My family will never be able to thank you all enough.  I will be making a donation soon.
I want to again thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
-John.

I want to thank all of the Neuro team from the bottom of my heart. You saved my life 10 years ago when my local hospital told my wife there was nothing more they could do for me. A quick trip in ambulance to King's and life saving surgery. I remember waking up three days later and Dr Bassi saying I had 30 minutes otherwise it would have been too late.
I have since had my head shunt replaced in February of this year by Dr Bassi’s team, so again saving my life.
The whole hospital was brilliant, so biggest thanks from me and my family.

Every day I thank you for saving my life. You may not hear the thousands of whispers doing the same, but just know each and every one of you are not just medical staff you become our family! You are completely different from others, with your care- it’s personal, you DO care about us as patients! My heart will always hold a special place for Neurosurgery and the King’s family especially Mr Walsh and his team and all of Murray Falconer ward.

Thank you to all the staff at King's for always doing a fabulous job and especially at this difficult at this testing time.
A special thanks to the neurosurgical team who recently looked after my son and all the nurses on the paediatric HDU who took such great care of us. You’re all amazing!

Thank you NHS for keeping Britain well as we go through this pandemic together. Well done everyone and I hope it will be all over soon.

Thank you to the doctors and healthcare staff in the NHS, for your brave and courageous work during the pandemic. It is your amazing work that keeps us moving forward, and hopeful for a brighter future. Everyday, I am inspired by the incredible job the NHS has been doing, how they are caring for patients despite the circumstance. You battle on the front lines, knowing the risk that has to be taken, yet still perform your job at such a high level. For that, I would like to express my gratitude and push you to keep doing such a stellar job.

The Hubs are a breath of fresh air for all to have that moment of relaxation, the ambience is appealing, cool and inviting. Great music,   teas and coffee selections.
It's so nice to unwind from the wards during our breaks.  The Hub staff are just superb in all the Hubs. We say many thanks.
The chapel is available for our spiritual well-being in times when we doubt ourselves and need that time to meditate with no questions asked. The idea to keep the chapel opened during the worst of times was so good as many of us found refuge just by being in the house of the Lord.
We thank all who made everything bearable when we were scared, afraid and waiting for the unknown with our lives.

"Hi, a huge thank you for your dedication to making a better humanity. Being a health worker myself, I totally understand the toll it takes on your mind and body, and this little contribution I say 'thank you'!! And, for those who have never heard of or practised conscious breathing before, I also wanted to add that whenever you are stressed or tired, try this breathing technique. For 5 - 10 minutes, breathe in nice and deep inhalations and on exhalation, hum a gentle deep tone, until you are ready to breathe in again, and repeat. While humming, let your whole being be immersed in the vibration. You can use ear plugs or your thumbs to shut off any outside noise so that you are totally immersed in the calming vibration. This is an excellent meditative technique I learnt from my hubby, a Yoga teacher, that helps me calm down. Hope it does the same for you. All the best! Best regards, Jane Datta"

Thank you so much to NHS staff for risking your lives and protecting the vulnerable and the weak in this stressful time for the millions of people in need. One of Martin Luther King Jr’s famous quotes are “ Life’s most persistent and urgent question is ,what are you doing for others?” This demonstrates your passion and willingness to risk your lives and wellbeing for others to do your job to the fullest. Thank you again NHS staff for shedding blood, sweat and tears for each and every patient you attend to for we know that where there is a beginning there is an end. So keep on getting stronger for a brighter and better future.

Dear NHS staff members,

As a whole, we are extremely grateful for the fact that you risk your lives and do all that is possible to save our family members and loved ones. It is one of the most gracious actions to be able to put your life on the line for strangers and I hope your kindness and hard-work is repaid. The cumulative amount of stress and pressure felt throughout the NHS is unimaginably large but we all want you to be aware that the community knows you are doing your best and working to the best of your capabilities.

Thank you for your continuous service!

Thank you to all the NHS staff working at Queen Mary’s Hospital. Your work is an inspiration and a motivation to millions. Remember, right now for a short amount of time ‘we must accept finite disappointment, but we must never lose infinite hope’ - Martin Luther King Jr

Again my gratitude goes out to all of the NHS staff that has produced blood, sweat and tears to create a better tomorrow for this nation because where there is a beginning there is an end and the end result will surely be sweet and rewarding. So keep moving forward together as brothers and sisters in the arm of medicine and strive to reach a pleasant end.

I was treated on Murray Falconer Ward at King's five years ago and not a day goes by when I don't remember the professionalism and kindness of all the staff during that week or during my follow up appointments since. Thank you King's.

I would like to thank the whole of the NHS for all the hard work and determination that you have shown through these tough times. The dangers and sacrifices that you have to go through are unbelievable and without you the suffering that Covid 19 has bought upon us will be even greater. Whether you are a cleaner, security guard, nurse or a medical consultant, you have all shown motivation to keep the virus under control and help keep the Hospital running so us and our loved ones are able to receive the much needed vital treatment. I would also like to thank the members of staff that look after their frontline colleagues. Without them, the nurses and doctors looking after the patients would be at a greater risk than they already are. Thank you again for all the hard work that you are performing to reduce the damage that the virus has inflicted.

Thank you for all your help stopping illnesses like COVID-19 spreading around the Uk. You've been really helpful and I hope you find a cure soon.

Thank you so much for all your hard effort. My family and I hope that you all make it through safely and we just wanted to let you know that you inspire us!

I’m lucky to be here due to the NHS and the medical team at King's College Hospital London.

I know first hand, just how kind, caring and hard working the nurses & doctors have been to me and my family.

I’ve spent many times as an inpatient, including many Christmases & birthdays in hospital and sometimes my room at King's was more like home than my home, but I met the kindest nurses & doctors at these times and they are all people I will never forget.

I’ve been in intensive care more times than I can remember and these staff are under extreme pressure every day and put their patients first, whilst working extremely hard and against the odds.

STAY HOME, SAVE LIVES & PROTECT THE NHS.

Thank you to all our heroic NHS staff who are working so hard to give our sick families and friends all the care and help they need.
My family and I are so grateful and wish you all the love and strength to get through this difficult time. Stay well and thank you again.
Ryan (12yrs) Jack (11yrs)

On behalf of myself and my wife I thought I'd like to join in the fanfare of grateful thanks for all you're doing for us in these very difficult times. We're doing our best to self-isolate and endeavoring to find slots for food deliveries. I'm 72 and my wife 6 years younger and we're both in reasonably good health. My late mother was in King's back in the 1980s for facial surgery and my late niece Alyson was there in 2005 initially, having had a brain haemorrhage, from which sadly she succumbed after a fight. Do keep up the good work and let's hope that this vile thing is soon over. Thank you all again - you're all stars!

Let's go lads! Just a little but further and you'll make Simon Cowell cry. You guys should have a statue built because you're our heroes.

Thanks for all of you devoting time caring for those who have contracted this horrible virus. You are all heroes and we shall forever be grateful to you all. I have never been more grateful to the NHS and all the selfless individuals who work there. You are all amazing.

As a NHS staff member at Tommie’s, I’ve just experienced being the mother of an adult child with Covid 19 in my local hospital. I wish I could say it was a positive experience! It showed me how nursing can be so different!!! I’m proud to be part of Guys & St. Thomas’ and connected to King's!!!

You're all amazing people doing what you're doing if I could give you all a hug I would. You are all true heroes. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Please, please carry on what you are doing. We are so grateful to all the staff in all the hospitals around the country for the amazing work you are doing in this difficult time, and how you're putting yourself on the front line. We pray for you and all the people you're helping and pray for the light at the end of the tunnel. A BIG THANKS TO THE NHS X

We are so grateful to you for stepping up in what must seem like a war situation, because that is what you do. When this is over you will enjoy the gratitude of the whole nation.
Thank you so much x"

THANK YOU NHS superheroes - we are thinking of you often and are doing our very best to stay home and keep the pressure off you and the hospitals. You are wonderful. Look after yourselves as best you can and we will keep campaigning for better funding when this is all over xxxx Ps Hi Dr Sellers!

Thank you, thank you thank you. Thank you for the care you take, your hard work, your experience and expertise. Thank you for the risk you take. Thanks for your commitment, your sacrifices. Thank you. To the doctors, the nurses, the cleaners and porters. The surgeons and midwives thank you. Thanks for looking after my Nan in Orpington. We appreciate all that you do.

I had my son at King’s College last Easter and the care I received there was INCREDIBLE so I already know that you guys are Heroes. Thank you for being on the front line for us and looking after our mums, dads, brothers, sisters, partners, children and friends. You are saving our lives and the whole country appreciates your work and care from the bottom of our hearts. My love to you, Sharon Kanolik xxx

THANK YOU SO MUCH for everything you’re doing! You’re putting yourself at risk for us, working your socks off for us, and there are not enough words to express our gratitude. You are brave, selfless incredible human beings - what would we do without you?! Whatever fear and anxiety there is now about the weeks and months ahead, it’s not a patch on what they’d be if you were not doing what you are doing and what you are going to be doing tirelessly for us all - it doesn’t bear thinking about. I can’t imagine how hard these days are / will be for you in so many ways as you battle the horrific challenges of the virus in and out of hospital. I wish I could do more to support you but please know I’m thinking of you, I’m incredibly grateful for you, I’m overwhelmed by what you’re doing for us and I’m wishing you all the strength in the world for the days ahead. xxxxx

Thank you. Every single one of you for catching us. For catching the sick and those that need it the most. For being the person that is with that person when family or others can’t be. Every single action you do is having an incredible effect on us. You’re amazing. Thank you. We think of you, worry for, believe in you and support you.
You ninja warrior heroes. We love and thank you."

For the way you looked after my Granny in her last days, for the care you gave my dad and my uncle, for the care you give my son and the care you gave my Cystic Fibrosis brother for so many years. For the times I’ve been that frantic mother with a newborn with a high temperature. YOU ARE ALL FLIPPING AMAZING. Keep going guys, all of you... the cleaners, the porters, the admin teams, the security, the paramedics, the nurses, the doctors, the consultants, the surgeons...EVERY LAST ONE OF YOU. You are hero’s without capes. Sending all the love and staying in for you. YOU’RE OUT THERE FOR US SO WE’RE INDOORS FOR YOU. #LEGENDS

Words are not enough but I Will try to all staff working in the NHS you know who you are this is the greatest sacrifice anyone has to do lay down your life for strangers please now that we the public are in debt to you all you are more precious the words can say thank you all for putting yourself and your family second xxx

"I can't imagine the worry you're feeling and the heartbreaking scenes you are witnessing, everyone of you are amazing, and we are all proud of your dedication and the continued efforts to heal as many people as possible.
We love you all."

"THANK YOU!!!!!
For the time and effort you are giving.
For the sacrifices you are making.
For the risks you are taking yourselves to help others.
For everything.
You are all absolute heroes."

It’s not the first time that I have been really grateful and moved by the generosity you have shown your community your country and humanity. Many times with my children were growing up I was always so grateful that I was able to come up to see nurses and doctors and have their needs are taken care off. Now they are grown up I’m finding myself turning to you to meet some of my needs and any concerns around my house. My son recently had coronavirus and is now well and again despite how stretched the service was you were very accommodating to him with a lot of love and dignity. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and keep going your courage and your determination is a real inspiration to the whole country and without you we would be much worse human beings both physically and emotionally. Sharon Bannister.

Thank you all for your bravery and your selflessness , I literally have tears running down my face thinking of you all and how amazing you all are xxxxx

"We might lose our mind for a while, but we'll be fine.
Have you heard there's this thing that heals, and it's called time.
The clock can tick away but happiness will soon fall into place
Thank you for all your support and work.
Stay strong our heroes x"

Thank you for selflessly putting yourselves at risk to save us during these dark times. In fact, during all times. You are loved and appreciated. If my son's grow up half as selfless as any one of you, I would be the proudest mother. Love and hugs (elbow bumps)! X X X X

A special thank you to the staff who have been redeployed to also be able to assist with the COV 19 response. I'm sure it's an especially trying time being redeployed on top of everything else going on. Have faith, we will get through it together xx

"Hello you wonderful people at the NHS, A thank you doesn’t seem really enough for all the amazing work you do, and will continue to do for us all as a nation so instead, I will say “magical awesomeness of epic scale big up yourself” instead. So many people are behind you all. The ones that really matter though I understand you leave behind at the start of each shift. I can’t imagine how that must feel right now. But you are beyond amazing for doing what you do. Keep up the boogie and get down xxx"

Where to start.. your amazing team saved my partners life 18 months ago. He was on Frank Stansil for 3 weeks with sepsis, “the sickest person in London by a mile” for 3 days. Shout out to George his consultant! He’s frail but here, I’ve got him on lockdown cos he ain’t seeing you lovely lot again. You are amazing, you saved him then and you’re saving many more now. I have no words for how brave you all are, all from the porters, consultants, nurses, scientists, doctors, cleaners. We Love you all xxx

Hello Wonderful People, what a time you are in right now and how eternally grateful we are for you taking care of us, our family and our friends. This too shall pass and at the end of it, imagine the celebrations we will all have together. Celebrating you and everything to did to help us. So so so much love. Everything you do is so important and acknowledged. Much love and strength. Xxx

"To all the staff at King's...throughout my life you have been angels for my family again and again. When I had meningitis as a 3 year old. When my brother suffered mental illness in his teens. When my daughter was born. When my dad got dementia. When my daughter suffered a brain injury. Every time we turned to you. Every time you took us in, you lifted us up, stabilised, fixed and consoled us. And when nothing else could be done, you made us brave. I can never say thank you enough times - how can you fully thank those who selflessly help you stand again and enable your life continue? Now is the time to say the biggest THANK YOU of all ...so very much ...for everything you have done and all you are doing now in this most extraordinary challenge. You and your work are what make our lives possible. We are always thinking of you. Xxx"

"Please know that very single one of you is a hero. I am so grateful to everything you do. This virus scares me. And I’m sure it scares you too. But I’m sitting on my sofa and you are out there and fight it. Thank you"

"You are all heroes to me.

Keep up your fight and try and take some time for yourselves.

My heart goes out to you,

I can only begin to understand the stress, fear, anxiety and wonder that have.

I’m a cop, and always stood 100% beside you all. Whilst we are manic right now, you trump us.I will do all I can to help you all.

All my love, stay safe

Matt"

Thank you for everything you do. The wonderful King's team safely delivered my two babies and manage my diabetes. The impact on my life has been immense, I can't begin to imagine how many other lives are being touched right now. So much love and luck to you all. xxxx

You are the life blood of our community. You have saved my friends lives and you’ve also made my friend’s passing much better than we could ever imagine.

I am so proud of you all, as is the whole nation. You are the humblest of heroes - nobody sees your battles, your struggles or your victories. But we know that you are out there fighting on the front line. For us. For our families. For our loved ones. And we are so, so grateful. We can only imagine how tough it is. We know that not everyone will make it. But that is the virus' fault. Never blame yourselves. You are all doing your level best to get through this and to get our country through this. We couldn't ask for anything more. The nation is standing behind you, rooting for you, every family up and down the country is willing you through. Please remember that one day this will be over. One day we'll be able to thank you properly. You are fighting so that you, and we, can be happy again.

"From an NHS psychologist: Thank you for all you're giving and doing during this impossibly difficult time. Let us know how we can help now, and know that we will be here for you and all of our patients when this is all over, for whatever you need. "

"You are our lifelines. Here's some poetry:No man is an island,
entire of itself;
every man is a piece of the continent,
a part of the main.
If a clod be washed away by the sea,
Europe is the less,
as well as if a promontory were.
as well as if a manor of thy friend’s
or of thine own were.
Any man’s death diminishes me,
because I am involved in mankind;
and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls;
it tolls for thee."

I had my son at King's in 2017 and was also supported through a miscarriage by King's staff last year. I could not have asked for kinder or more generous support on both occasions. My heartfelt thanks go out to all of the midwives and doctors supporting mother's at this difficult time, you are heroes and the entire nation owes you a debt it will never be able to repay. THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU

We are all scared for ourselves and those we love and care for. For you it is so much more as you see the reality time after time and, without protective kit, the impact on your colleagues. My neighbour and friend works as a nurse at King's. She worked alongside so many of you to treat the victims of the Grenfell Tower and we saw at first hand the devastating impact on her. You have all be treated appallingly by the government despite risking your lives. Thank you but please, once we are through this, be angry and make those in power remember how much we need and value you. X

"As my 3 year old says ""Fan chew guys!"" You are all doing a fantastic job and we really appreciate your skills and dedication."

"Having spent 6 days in the PRUH I do not have words for the hard work and professionalism of the Doctors, Nurses, Cleaners, Catering staff they are working so hard with total disregard of their own safety. Thank you all on behalf of my family and me"

KCH. You saved my son's life exactly 4 years ago. I lived with him at the hospital for a month. I know first hand, from living on the inside 24 hours a day, the commitment, dedication and brilliance of the team there; the level of care you provide. Every single one of you. You are in our thoughts every day. We appreciate this opportunity to thank you for what you are doing now. What you do every day. The NHS is the best of us. Much love to you and your families.

Thank you for your dedication and service now and always - as a society we are lost without you. A situation like this must never happen again and we hope once the worst is past there is proper recognition of the amazing work you do and the role of the NHS more broadly. The NHS and all frontline staff must be properly invested in to ensure future challenges are met by decently staffed and equipped hospitals - there must be change.

You were always my heroes and heroines King's staff. My children were born in your hospital and you treated me for cancer. My whole family really appreciates what you are doing now - everyone, doctors, nurses, all of the 'ologists' and support staff. Thank you

"We will use this time to fight for better conditions for you, and for the longevity of this incredible national health service. For passionate, principled, caring people like you, who deserve protection, respect, and fun times with your loved ones. I know that right know you're under pressure to be strong and calm for all of us, and that can weigh so heavily on you. Remember that you did not cause this situation, and it is too much responsibility for any NHS worker to hold to try and 'fix' this. Please be assured that whoever you are, if you are feeling lonely, scared, isolated, or hopeless, like you don't want to do this anymore- there are hundreds of people who want to fight for your safety and happiness, who have time for you . Feel how you feel, and tell other people about it- you do not have to carry it yourself. In love and rage xxxx"

Thank you so much for coming to the nation’s rescue in our hour of need. What you are doing is so appreciated. We are so lucky to have you. Churchill’s phrase “Never has so much been owed by so many to so few” is apt here I think!

These are extraordinary times, but you are an extraordinary person. You've got this. The mere act of turning up for work today, knowing what you do, shows just how much bravery and moral courage you have. You are a marvellous human being and I will be thinking of you - yes, you! - throughout this crisis and hoping more than anything else in the world that you stay healthy, you stay safe and you stay kind to yourself. You look after all of us, and I will be hoping you take some time to look after yourself too and to forgive yourself in any dark moments that follow. On behalf of every person you help today who cannot communicate, or who is too scared or upset to speak rationally, thank you. On behalf of everyone outside this building, staying at home, thank you. Never forget just how much you are appreciated. Thank you, my NHS hero - thank you for being you. You're amazing.

"Thank you so much for your bravery and hard work.
You looked after my Brother for 5 days whilst he got through the worst of this awful virus....without your help he wouldn’t still be with us.
You are saving lives every day, it’s amazing.
Thank you to the front line staff and those non-clinical people, you all helped to save my brothers life.
Xxxx"

Jesse Scharf: "Thank you, thank you, thank you. When this is over the Gipsy Hill Tap room has a big bar tab for NHS workers. I've just put some money behind the bar for you. https://gipsyhillbrew.com/product/buy-the-nhs-a-pint/"

Thinking about you all every day. I know you must be stretched to your very limits but I also know you are the type of people who are the very best of society... You chose a job to save and heal lives and thank you for choosing that and all your training and studying you did is now needed more than ever and just thank you for being amazing at what you do. I have never met a doctor or nurse who didn't truly care. When we have to avoid people you have to go to people and they need you so much. But you can only ever do your best and you must look after yourselves too and shout to your community of you need help... You will have people leaping to provide it but you must ask. You can ask anything, you are going to get us through this. Xxxxxxx

I gave birth to my little baby boy, Finn, on 11th March at King's. I cannot fault the support and kindness I've received throughout my pregnancy and birth; the staff were out-of-this-world amazing and went above and beyond at all times. An extra special shout out to Polly, Dan and the Blood Pressure team, the Ruskin staff, my amazing midwives Yvonne and Fiona, and all those on the labour ward. We salute you!! Love Carleigh, Joe and Finn xx

Thank you very much for all your hard work and for looking after everyone day in, day out - and not just for coronavirus, but for all the other myriad illnesses you provide healthcare for every single day and night. We really appreciate everything you are doing to fight this battle on our behalf. Take care of yourselves and your colleagues. This will not last forever, brighter days will come. Lots of best wishes and love to you all xx

"We'd all be totally lost and completely hopeless without YOU!!!!
