A gift left to King’s in the will of a generous donor has supported refurbishments to Todd Ward, the unit which cares for patients with liver-related conditions and who are having liver transplants.
The gift of over £40,000 was given by the late Mrs Christine Caen. It’s helped to provide a vibrant new environment to the reception, side rooms and day room of the patient areas, as well as a fantastic revamp of the staff room. The donation is also providing staff with the opportunity to attend mentorship courses.
